I'll have to agree with you also on all you said. Tech is going to have to get a QB because Taylor isn't looking no better, in fact he looks worse than last year. Beamer is going to have to look for a QB somewhere other than Eastern VA.

Tyrod looked better as a true freshman than he does as a Jr. O'Cain is a terrible QB coach but continues on as does Stinespring as OC because they are Franks buddies. Until Beamer can break out of the buddy system the VT O will continue as it is.

I think it really hurt VT losing Boone for the second half, he is a big target and would have helped Taylor out early

Dont condemn Taylor yet, Bama's D is one of the best in the nation, it was the first game, etc..
It sounds strange but Taylor needs to run more, VT's WR's arent that great, and i know ty wants to show he can throw, but he will need to take off more for VT to be a dynamic offense.

Greg McElroy had more rushing plays than T Taylor, that says it all.

but Ryan Williams is not that much of a drop off behind Evans, he impressed me a whole lot, he ran hard and averaged 5 YPC on a top 3 run defense.

the D needs more players, they were wore out in the 4th quarter.
and all the accolades for Worilds may have been premature, bama did a GREAT job on him and he was a non factor the whole game, he didnt impress me at all.
